Like a car’s navigation system singing karaoke
Look, I don’t know what to think about this song. Back again, being re-serviced (their words, not mine) by the music publicity services to capitalize on her apparently surging fame in the UK, it would appear that the song itself is as difficult to avoid as it’s obnoxiously catchy refrain: “I would dy-y-ye my hair for you.” Unfortunately, it’s impossible to hear those words in your head without then remembering the robotic repetition that follows, when what sounds like an early, discarded, computer-generated voice runs through its own iteration of the refrain. It’s like a car’s navigation system singing karaoke. Unfortunate since ALMA’s voice is impressive, even if the song itself isn’t particularly so.
